City Utility Equipment Co.
was founded in 1993 with the intent of selling specialized
utility equipment and services in the Greater Chicago
metropolitan area. We are a small equipment distributor
that specializes in the sale, leasing, rental, and service
of new and used aerial lifts, grappler loaders, chip
bin bodies of trailers, telescoping cranes, and forestry
related power equipment.
We are one of the largest domestic dealers for Altec
Industries, who is the largest manufacturer in the
world of truck mounted aerial equipment. Some of the
other manufacturers we represent are Prentice loaders,
SouthCo Truck Bodies, Utility Trailers Inc.,
Skylift Platforms, Aerolift Platforms, Telescopic Cranes,
Accustrip Systems and Husqvarna Outdoor Power Products.
Our offices are located in downtown Chicago, and Plainfield,
IL, with 10 acres of storage and 7000 sq ft of shop,
which enables us to service our customer base at their
convenience. The advantage we have over our competitors
is that we specialize in the sale, training, and service
of our utility equipment. Our direction and product
lines are focused to meet each of our individual customer
needs.
